7/7/2005  At 5pm 7/6/2005 I opened the mail to find our homeowners insurance had been cancelled as of 6/29/2005 (Note to AAA:  Notice of cancellation should be sent before the policy actually cancels).  That night we went to bed wondering what could possibly happen to the house since our insurance lapsed.  At 12:06am that night, we found out.  A tree branch fell on the house.  The damage turned out to be minor and the next day our insurance was re-instated after many heated battles with AAA.  Here are the pics of the tree.
